Get a George Foreman grill. It's almost impossible to screw up with one of those things if you follow the instruction book. I've made chicken , steaks, turkey burgers, italian sausage and salmon in it with no trouble at all. The outside of the meat can get dry if you're not careful, but you can avoid that by wrapping it in foil. It can also cook veggies and kabobs if you're afraid of eating that much meat.
