Should I ask my housemates to pay a part of the wifi router?

It depends who's going to get the wireless router when you all move out. If it's a flat router then yes they should pay for it. However, if you are going to keep the router at the end then you should pay for it. (It remains your router, you just happen to be lending to the flat).
