How long will it take to report on my Credit Report if I pay a loan off in whole?

I was recently in a car wreck, and Im preparing to purchase my next vehicle (Suzuki GSX-R) and I am choosing to finance just so that I can save my cash and money saved up for the upcoming semester, But I was wondering how long would it take for an auto-loan to clear my credit report once the payment is made in full? I ask because I know that with my Credit being basicly brand new, only about a year or so old, how long would it take the Credit Bureaus to show the payment of the loan, as to decrease my Debt -to-income ratio so that I can qualify to finance my bike without a co-signer??
