Clic Rock revival?
Okay I'm just 18, so this is a question mostly aimed at those who grew up as kids during the 1960s and 1970s. I've been discovering these really cool modern bands that are still pretty underground, but are now starting to gain some mainstream attention. All of these bands are made up of those who are in their early, mid to late 20s and early 30s. So they are pretty young. These bands go by such names like: The Wildbirds, The Lonely H, Wolfmother, Haight-Ashbury, Kelley Stoltz, The Society of Rockets, The Blue Van, Willie Phoenix, Os Haxixins, The Coral, Black Mountain, Scott Liss, The Parlor Mob, The London Souls, Slideshaker, and The Draytones. All of these new musicians and bands (to me), sound like the real deal. I've been listening to clic rock like The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Doors, etc., ever since I was a kid. What I'm trying to say is, they sound very retro oriented. Please listen to them on myspace or youtube if you can before responding. Peace!
