Are astral projections sinful/evil in Christianity?

Basically anything that has to do with messing with your soul is viewed as "Black Magic" in the eyes of Christians, Catholics and almost all other religions (Except for Satanist, Wiccan or other pagan religions). I say try it if you want to, then talk with a pastor/father and ask for forgiveness. While your at it you might as well cut off your testicles (to avoid "sinful" thoughts), give all your money and possessions to the church and poor people, and spend the rest of your life reading about an over-popularized imaginary friend while you wait to die.
