Above two answered as per US law but buddy i think u r an Indian. In India, there is a Copyright Law. As per this law every work done by any person is automaticaly copyrighted evenif it is not a registered trademark. The only thing you need to prove is that it is your work. For example in case of sites, if you have old copy of webpages since the date you updated them, then you can prove that it is yours. I dont know exactly the address but I visited it once. So you type "Copyright India" in google and search. Best Luck.
