No heat or ac out of vents 99 chevy astro van?

i know there's ahose that needs hooked up!!!!!!!!!!! but where is it!!!!!!!!!! i am not getting any heat or ac from the vents on the dashboard, or on both sides of the steering wheel. heat and ac on the floor but none from dash!!!!!!!!!!!!
