Shakespeare's Macbeth?

In simple terms--if there is such a thing with Shakespeare--humans are prone to temptation, pridefulness, and self destruction. This is where it all begins in Macbeth. He is tempted into evil; he carries it on due to pridefulness and greed; this all ends in self destruction. Human nature says that humans are their own worse enemy. Just look at global warming, it's a perfect example.
